Weston Golf and Country Club Wedding - Emily & Manuel

Emily and Manuel’s elegant golf-club wedding at the Weston Golf and Country Club was so sweet and touching, and so many unique little elements were included throughout the day, making this wedding extra special!

Emily’s day started bright and early, with her closest friends arriving at her family home to get all glammed up for her big day. When we arrived, her hair and make-up was almost all done, and her bridesmaids were getting ready to put on their dresses and step outside for a few portraits with Emily.

Manuel, on the other hand, was just starting a board game with his groomsmen as we got to his parents’ home, and for an hour straight there was non-stop laughter as they took turns pitching each other ridiculous product ideas for the characters cards they drew. Funny enough, Manuel drew the Newlywed card…coincidence? Hmmmm I don’t know… As Manuel finished getting dressed, it was evident that the significance of the day really started to sink in. While the groomsmen were joking around in the yard, Manuel stepped aside for a few quite moments to reflect on the day ahead.

The Catholic ceremony was held at the beautiful Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic church in Woodbridge, where gothic chandeliers adorned the tall ceilings, stained-glass windows let soft nature light in, and a stunning alter greeted Emily and Manuel as they said their I Do’s in an emotion-filled ceremony.

After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the Weston Golf and Country Club for the reception. As the guests enjoyed some cocktails, we headed out onto the green for bridal party photos, and what better way to get from one location to another than to ride around golf carts! So much fun!

Before joining their guests for a few cocktails, Emily and Manuel stepped inside the Weston Golf and Country Club to change into Vietnamese outfits for a traditional tea ceremony, where their families congratulated them and presented them with gifts and well-wishes while Emily and Manuel presented them with tea.

Our absolutely favourite part of the night was when Emily, with the help of her bridesmaids, surprised Manuel with a serenade. The look of adoration was evident as Manuel watched his bride sing to him, and for the rest of the night neither one could stop grinning. The wedding day of Emily and Manuel was full of love and emotion, and we could not be any happier to have been able to capture these sweet moments for them to remember for the rest of their lives. Congratulations, you two!
